Chester Grosvenor 76 Round Table Charity is made up of volunteers from all areas of Chester and we raise funds to improve our community and help those in need.
All the money we raise from our fundraisers are then reinvested back into the CWaC area.
All appeals are sent to our Community Officer for due diligence to ensure the process is fair and the appeal is legitimate before presenting to the Table. During this time we may request additional information which may lead to a delay in approving.
All appeals are discussed at the next Business Meeting and following a review by our members the appeal can be proposed, seconded and voted upon. All registered votes are recorded and quorum 50% must be present for the vote to be passed, as per our Standing Orders.
Time sensitive appeals may be discussed outside the Business Meetings but require Chairman/Vice Chairman’s approval.

Not all appeals are for monetary values and we can purchase tangible items for causes if required. We can also offer to help with manpower or assistance with your events, we experience in our own events (Santa Float, Charity Quiz, , Beer Festival, Pensioner Party, Raft Race, etc…) and we have assisted many other events previously (Fireworks Nights, Vaccine Rollouts, Festival Stewards).
As well as wholly funding or supporting a request we can also provide partial funding to big projects. For big community projects we have been able to obtain crowd funding and matched the money raised pound for pound.
